Intel FPGA-based platforms and solutions are powering applications and network infrastructure in the data center and beyond. The validation team maintains a vital responsibility in bringing world changing products to market by measuring and analyzing the quality and performance of the FPGA and surrounding solutions.

FPGA engineers gain a unique experience of working with RTL, design flows, boards and systems, and Software (SW), all on a regular basis, while employing critical thinking and creative problem solving to accomplish our goals.

This team specializes in gathering, analyzing, and communicating data around interface bandwidth, latency, and other factors involved with high performance products.

To start in Q2 2021. Preferable 6 months full-time internship.

Qualifications

You must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

The candidate must be pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.

Minimum of 6-9+ months experience in:

* C and/or C++.

* RTL (VHDL, Verilog and/or System Verilog).

* Computer Architecture.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Design Simulation.

* OS and Platform SW and drivers.

* Scripting (TCL, Python).

* FPGA.

* Data analysis.
