The Cloud Enterprise Solutions Group's (CESG) mission is to grow Intel's Data-centric business with Cloud Service Providers, Enterprise, and Government customers around the world. This customer segment represents the largest proportion of Intels Data-Centric Platform overall revenue and will continue to be financially significant and strategically important long in to the future.
Come join the HPC business team as an HPC Solutions Engineer Intern focused on defining and delivering incremental value to Intel's data center products and technologies in solving customers problems through technical collaborations with our OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and CSP (Cloud Service Provider) partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to apply their technical software/hardware education to real products and technologies, help build supporting data to influence product definition and help marketing to drive win-win solutions with Intel's HPC partners.
This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelors degree with three years related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelors degree and less than three years experience.
Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to the following:
* Learn and help develop Intel's point-of-view on market trends and technologies driving HPC industry (e.g. Power management, Quantum, or distributed storage systems)
* Competitive research
* Create content for the HPC Sales team including technical foilware and/or configuration guides
* Program manage working groups
* Help create differentiation by recognizing and driving new collaboration opportunities for programs that accelerate Intel product adoption in the market through OEMs and CSPs
The must exhibit the following behavioral traits:

* Strong show of independent work and an ability to work collaboratively
* Ability to build relationships in a virtual environment
* Possess strong problem solving and analytical skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Must be pursuing a BS Degree in computer Eng or Computer Science
3+months experience in the following coursework:
* Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects/programs (in academic environment is fine)
* Software programming
* Experience running applications in the Cloud (AWS, Azure or Google) desirable
Preferred requirements:
* Desire to work in the HPC and AI industries
* Development software experience in Python
