Come be a part of the Platform and Architecture Integration and Validation team within the Data Platform Group. We are seeking an experienced Platform Validation and Debug Engineer to join our team.

As a Platform Validation and Debug Engineer, your primary responsibility will be developing and creating state-of-the-art validation capabilities supporting the Data Products Group product portfolio. You will interact with Architecture, Design, Silicon Validation, and Product Management teams to analyze requirements, customer use cases, improve product test content, debug, and provide feedback for future system features.

The scope of your role will include:

* Ownership of technical domain(s) end to end.

* Leading validation efforts to ensure quality at platform level.

* Planning, developing, and executing validation tasks, such as defining test plans, review requirements coverage, drive test execution, drive debug and taskforces of issues resolution.

* Developing test content to cover product requirements accordingly.

* Voice of the team to represent issues found in lab at the corresponding forums.

* Participating in product planning and release meetings providing input and decisions.

* Collaborating with various internal cross-team validation organizations.

* Debug platform level issues and provide guidance on resolution.

* Role model for the organization and junior engineers.

Qualifications

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science or related fields.

* 5+ years of experience in Systems validation and/or Platform validation experience.

* 5+ years' experience with x86 and server or infrastructure architecture

* 5+ years' experience in one or more technical domains, such as network, RAS (reliability, accessibility, serviceability), virtualization, power management.

* 5+ years debug experience at platform level

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in Power and Performance characteristics

* Experience working across geographies and organizational boundaries
