Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting corporate close and consolidation process and preparing consolidated financial statements for the Company, including preparing filings for the Securities and Exchange Commission (10-Q, 10-K, 8K) and other regulatory filings. Must have the ability to effectively multi-task and maintain a strong, positive team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities include:
* Prepare consolidated financial statements, including cash flows and management financial information and analysis.
* Support preparation of quarterly and annual Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filings and other regulatory filings.
* Prepare complex account reconciliations, journal entries and variance analyses.
* Coordinate with independent auditors to assist in audit requests.
* Assist in the modification, implementation, and maintenance of accounting systems.
* Prepare internal presentations on accounting and financial reporting matters for senior management.
* Strong technical skills and analytical capabilities.
* Proven problem solving and decision making skills.
* Excellent organizational skills, time management, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and prioritize diverse tasks.
Basic Qualifications
6 Years with Bachelor's Degree in related field; 4 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
* Masters degree in Accounting or Finance
* Certified Public Accountant or equivalent (i.e. Chartered Accountant)
* Relevant background with a large national or regional CPA firm
* SEC reporting and technical accounting experience
* Experience with XBRL
* Experience with SAP, Blackline and Workiva
