Responsibilities
The Senior Finance Professional collects, compiles, verifies, and analyzes financial information and economic indicators so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions on, for example, acquisitions, investments, capital expenditure, divestitures, mergers, or the sale of assets. Analyzes the financial implications of proposed investments or other transactions so that senior managers can evaluate alternatives against the organization's business objectives. Evaluates industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's short, medium, and long-term financial and competitive position. Analyzes revenues, expenses, costs, prices, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates. The position is also instrumental in financial modeling, reporting and budgeting. Begins to influence departments strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments
Perform financial reporting, analysis and planning process for Home Solutions programs including annual budgets and monthly forecasts
Communicate financials results to business leaders, providing analysis on financial performance and insights on key variance drivers
Recommend actions that may be taken to improve financial results
Identify and track KPIs for Home Solutions care management programs
Utilize and model data from a variety of sources to drive analysis of Home Solutions programs
Prepare presentations for senior management to effectively communicate financial results, budgets and forecasts
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
5+ years of experience in finance/accounting
Experience with budgeting, forecasting and reporting
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong analytic skills with attention to details
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and multi-dimensional databases
Must have accessibility to high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office (satellite internet service is NOT allowed for this role); and a minimum internet connection speed of 10M x 1M
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Previous health insurance industry experience
Experience with SAS or other relational databases
