Summary:

The Sr. Manager Marcus Hook Terminal Operations is responsible for the overall management and operation of the assigned area at the Terminal. Marcus Hook is a premier LPG and refined products terminal and a fully functioning processing complex. As one of the largest and most complex facilities in Energy Transfer, the site has over 2 million barrels of LPG cavern storage, 5 million barrels of refined product and crude storage, dock facilities, truck racks and both pipeline and rail access. Marcus Hook is the final destination for Ethane, Propane, Butane, Crude and gasoline from various sources including pipelines, marine vessels, rail cars and trucks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Organize, plan and direct all aspects of MH operation and maintenance of the assigned area. Ensure industry leading safety, environmental performance, operational excellence and customer service.
* This role includes P&L accountability and capital plan development and execution.
* Partner with Business Development to grow earnings by increasing total product volumes and customers, as well as participating in due diligence for potential new business.
* Prepares and administers capital and expense budgets annually and is accountable for business results for MH.
* Manage a compliment of approximately 70 employees, including about 60 hourly represented employees and contractors.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve operations, create competitive advantage and grow earnings
* Direct terminal workforce and daily operations for safe, environmentally sound, efficient, and profitable product logistics services
* Identify and investigate operating issues or incidents and implement appropriate corrective actions
* Oversee execution of daily operating plans
* Manage performance of operating workforce, including administration of CBA for represented employees
* Interface with customers to ensure excellent customer service
* Measure key performance indicators and utilize periodic reviews to drive business performance

Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

* 10 years of relevant experience in liquid products terminals and/or petroleum logistics operations preferred. 5 years of relevant management experience preferred.
* Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
* Supervisory / management experience in a unionized environment preferred
* Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and senior management as well as Engineering, Business Development, and other departments.
* Knowledge of marine, truck transport, rail, and labor relations preferred.
* Knowledge of company procedures and policies is a plus.
* Good oral and written communication skills are essential.
* Demonstrated management, analytical, and problem solving skills.
* Strong systems (IT) knowledge including databases and reporting software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

* Strong written, oral communication and computer skills.
* Leadership skills and ability to work well with supervisors and mechanics.
* Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Proven team player.
* Knowledge of HES standards and environmental regulations as they pertain to petrochemical field maintenance work. Petrochemical or industrial field maintenance experience.

Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

* Normal office working conditions with approximately 50% of the time in the field.
* Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
* Position is based in industrial settings which may include hazardous materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.

Energy Transfer LP provides energy-related services in the United States and China. The company owns and operates approximately 9,400 miles of natural gas transportation pipelines and three natural gas storage facilities in Texas; and approximately 12,200 miles of interstate natural gas pipelines. It sells natural gas to electric utilities, independent power plants, local distribution companies, industrial end-users, and other marketing companies.
