The Salesforce Industry Marketing team is looking for a talented and passionate marketer to drive vision, messaging, awareness, and go-to-market strategy for our Communications Industry solutions. In this role, you will be a subject matter expert in the Communications Service Provider (Telecommunications) industry and will define, guide and create content and messaging at the tip of the marketing spear - driving digital transformation in the Communications industry.

Responsibilities:

* Work with the industry's best marketing team to help define the messaging, positioning and go-to-market strategy for Salesforce Communications Industry solutions as well as Communications industry products

* Collect and prioritize candidate customer stories from product leaders, sales teams and partners

* Establish partnerships with customers and develop case studies and reference stories

* Create and deliver visionary and compelling content for internal, external and customer-facing presentations

* Support differentiated event marketing experiences at Salesforce and industry third-party events

* Support industry product launch plans with customer stories to ensure effective and ongoing relevancy in the market to drive demand generation and sales pipeline

* Develop effective sales training materials, making it easy for sales to understand our product offerings and key positioning

* Partner with other marketing specialist teams to execute innovative marketing campaigns, thought leadership, content marketing, webinars, SEO, and web design to build pipeline

Required Skills/Experience:

* 4-to-6 years experience in product marketing

* Alternatively, candidates with 4-to-6 years experience in sales or customer service with a focus on customer success may also apply

* Hands-on ability to create a range of marketing assets including on-message product demo videos, sharp succinct slide pitch-decks in Apple Keynote and Google G Suite

* Experience/familiarity with the customer engagement lifecycle and Salesforce CRM applications

* Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision making as well as a strong track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics

* Ability to craft compelling positioning and thought leadership content

* Strong communication and writing skills and ability to work across business lines, presenting to executive leadership and at different levels of management

* Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence

* MBA a plus (but we also love brilliant people who didn't go to business school)

* 5+ years of experience in the Communications Service Provider (telecommunications) industry - preferred, but equivalent relevant experience is also of interest
