One of the fastest growing functions in Salesforce Security Assurance organization, the Customer Success & Advocacy Team (CSAT), is looking for a strong individual contributor in this role. The team is chartered to scale proactive security investments and controls including but not limited to security design reviews, threat modeling, code analysis, secure software supply chain, hardened public cloud infrastructure, and offensive security engagements to name a few. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, your customer base will include engineers, developers, executives, product owners and passionate fellow security professionals. You will be on the frontline of providing security assurance to our stakeholders by measuring, surfacing, and effectively communicating security risk and performance an intuitive manner.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development, collection, and analysis of metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) for engineering teams, services, applications, and products
* Drive metrics and reporting by gathering and managing requirements, input, and perspectives from a wide variety of stakeholders in a heterogenous environment
* Build relationships with engineers, developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of what security metrics and reports will be most impactful and actionable
* Partner with internal and external stakeholders in the security and engineering organizations to create a holistic picture of risk-based security assurance radar and communicate it effectively to engineering stakeholders
* Leverage agile software development best practices to create security metric reports and dashboards for multiple Salesforce internal audiences
Required Skills
* 6-8+ years experience working in a security focused role in the technology or other technology heavy industry (e.g. Financial Services)
* Direct experience developing, analyzing, and communicating information security metrics and indicators
* Ability to create dashboards and reports that present data effectively to a variety of audiences
* Excellent communication skills around executive narratives, large scale outreach activities, and demystifying technical jargon to broad range of audience
* Demonstrated exceptional customer empathy and passion for alleviating customer pain with innovation
* Deep technical curiosity and ability to absorb new technical and business context quickly
* Experience applying information security risk management and risk assessment processes
* Self-starter, able to make progress on work with a moderate to high amount of autonomy
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Experience managing multi-phase projects with multiple types of stakeholders
* Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) certifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline
