This is a temporary part time position for Raytheon for an undetermined length

An active and in-scope Top Secret US security clearance is required

Job Description:

The person in this position would be expected to lead in the development of High Energy Laser (HEL) Weapon System Architecture and test programs across the product line (multiple programs). This person would contribute to advancing the state of the art in HEL beam control across the HEL product line. They would be expected to contribute to the product development road map and new business strategy. This person will make presentations to management and potentially to customers to help obtain funding to continue to develop key technologies to advance the product area.

Required Skills:
* High Energy Laser Weapons Systems experience
* Experience architecting new HEL systems to meet customer and market needs
* Experience with beam control systems
* Experience with developing systems using spectral beam combining of fiber lasers
* Business capture experience
* Excellent communication skill

Desired Skills:
* Test Director experience
* Project management experience
* Experience with Cryo laser technology
