Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is seeking a Recruiter to perform full life cycle recruitment. This person will strive to achieve and exceed staffing goals and objectives, and demonstrate a willingness to go above and beyond to support hiring managers with their staffing needs. A motivated, process oriented recruiter with strong client and candidate management skills is ideal for this position. To be successful in this role, the candidate will develop and maintain business relationships and be recognized as a trusted HR business partner. This requires the recruiter to be assertive, work with a sense of urgency, and have a strong work ethic.
The Recruiter will:
Perform full life cycle recruiting of professional positions, and provide support for other functional areas as needed
Manage a high volume of requisitions at all levels of the organization
Develop a recruitment plan for assigned program areas
Use sourcing tools and techniques to identify candidates such as online social networking, traditional networking, Boolean searches, and referrals
Drive the hiring process; actively engage with managers, provide ongoing status of requisitions, advise and influence managers throughout the hiring process, and close requisitions in a timely manner
Use candidate relationship management skills to identify, assess, and maintain candidates
Provide training to hiring managers on recruiting tools and processes
Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate position criteria, determine candidate requirements, and review advertising and sourcing options
Conduct behavioral interviews, contribute to candidate selection process, and onboard new employees as necessary
Ensure consistent application of Talent Acquisition processes and policies, and maintain accurate, auditable employment records
Attend local/national career events and conferences
Required Skills:
6+ years experience to include any combination of full cycle recruiting, coordinating, sourcing, recruiting agency, or HR experience
Experience with customer and candidate management and relationship building skills
Experience supporting remote customers
Experience identifying and address root cause of cycle-time bottlenecks
Desired Skills:
Experience recruiting in a third party agency environment
Experience supporting the recruitment of human resource talent
Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems, such as Kenexa, Taleo and Authoria
Understanding of employment law principles
Experience integrating recruiting best practices within assigned scope of responsibilities
Experience managing multiple assignments by providing on-going documentation and status to stake-holders
Understanding Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) principles
Experience measuring performance to metrics and present findings to a wide range of leaders
Experience in a high volume, transaction-oriented search firm recruiting environment
Experience in a corporate, commercial, agency and/or military contractor environment
PHR , SPHR Certification; Boolean Algebra technique certification i.e., AIRS
Demonstrated creative problem solving ability and excellent teamwork skills
Demonstrated relationship building, client management and influencing skills
Advanced level candidate pre-closing and closing skills with proven ability to determine viable prospects
Experience driving innovation to hire critical talent
