Job Description
Raytheon Technologies is seeking an Information Assurance Engineer that supports multiple programs administering the Information Assurance duties for information systems processing National Security Information. This position will coordinate closely with the Information Assurance Lead to ensure all National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) requirements are implemented, functional, and correctly documented using the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Required Skills:
* ICD 503 (a.k.a. Risk Management Framework) experience, including experience with ICD 503-related artifacts, including the SCTM, SAR, RAR, Continuous Monitoring Plan, and others.
* Experience developing System Security Plans (SSPs) and all supporting certification and accreditation documentation.
* Experience supporting various computer hardware and multiple operating systems in both a stand-alone and in LAN/WAN configurations.
* Familiar with the security features and/or vulnerability of various operating systems.
* Must have 6 years of professional experience.
* Must obtain and maintain DoD 8570 (IAT II) certification within 6 months of employment, (e.g. Security+)
* Experience implementing the JSIG, ICD 705, DITSCAP, DIACAP or NISPOM requirements to include technical computer/network system auditing.
* Must be a self-starter capable of multitasking and efficiently managing your time in a dynamic environment while requiring minimal levels of supervision.
* Excellent writing, speaking, analytical, project management, organizational, and customer service skills.
* Must possess the interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
* Willing to travel on company business up to 10% of the time
Desired Skills:
* Ability to develop solutions to complex IS compliance and security problems.
* Experience working directly with ISSMs and/or SCAs to review, update, and explain accreditation documentation
* Understanding of STIGs, SCC, ACAS and other hardening and vulnerability management tools
* Previous experience with DCID 6/3, JAFAN 6/3, DIACAP is helpful
* Knowledge in Windows and Unix operating systems.
* CISSP certification
Security Clearance Requirement: Must be a US citizen and possess an active TOP SECRET /SCI clearance with current SSBI.
