This is an exciting opportunity to join the Naval Surface & Undersea (NSUS) team as a Financial Analyst, providing primary FP&A support to the Total Ship Integration Systems (TSIS) portfolio of programs. This position requires significant partnership with the NSUS FP&A Manager, Finance Leads, Program Business Managers, Functional Leads and the Naval Power FP&A team to ensure accurate and predictable forecasting.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
1. You will prepare weekly/monthly variance analysis to forecast, identifying risk/opportunities and early warning of issues, and consolidating financial data for various reviews (weekly bookings, sales, profit and cash calls, weekly Risk & Opportunity, Outlook, monthly forecast reviews, staffing planning, and various levels of internal leadership meetings).
2. You will assist in the Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Plan (5 Year Plan) activities and engage with the Finance Managers to ensure accurate and timely updates to the forecast system (Rplan), monthly balance sheet and ad hoc support in the consolidation and reporting of the financial metrics for the NSUS Program Area.
3. You must be able to work under deadlines and constraints as well as have the ability to multitask across a variety of tasks and work with all levels of the organization

Qualifications You Must Have:
* BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management or related business field
* Minimum 4 years of finance related experience
* Financial Planning & Analysis experience
* Experience with financial forecasting, Risk & Opportunity management and/or variance analysis
* Experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Analysis for Office and Word
* Experience with SAP Enterprise Planning / Reporting or similar tools
Qualifications We Value:
* Experience with the Rplan financial forecasting tool
* Experience with Microsoft Power Query
* Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines
* Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools, and independently create and accurately analyze cost data
* Great organizational skills in leading/coordinating program personnel toward common goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines
* Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries for internal communication
