The PepsiCo Energy Portfolio is seeking a dynamic, highly collaborative and creative marketer with a passion for brand building & marketing communications. The ideal candidate will have strong music and culture marketing experience that was translated through traditional and digital/social advertising. They should have experience in creative development, project management, strategic planning, and driving cultural relevance in the energy category. The ideal candidate is a good teammate and strong leader, capable of influencing internal and external cross-functional team members.

The Marketing Director of Music will be focused on creating the strategy and vision for a full-year music strategy for Rockstar and future energy brands. This leader will be responsible for long term strategic planning, executing in-year music events, partnerships, and evolving our overall approach to music as a passion point in the energy category.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to help drive our overall approach to music within energy from strategy to ideas, to execution to create a deeper relationship with our brands and ultimately create strong consumer pull through.

Responsibilities include:

* Developing an always-on Music strategy for the Energy portfolio with a focus on Rockstar Energy (including leveraging consumer insights to identify genres, festivals, artists, influencers, etc)
* Leaning into the culture; identifying opportunities through music and entertainment broadly to increase consumer engagement
* Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop consumer engagement plans to bring our energy beverages to life via cultural pillars within the music
* Partner with energy portfolio counterparts to ensure cohesive brand plans, flawless in-store execution, and strong plans for 2021+
* Own Rockstar Energy Music budget to drive impact, engagement, and sales

* Solid organizational and project management skills able to establish priorities, strong detailed execution and ability to multi-task
* Advanced Keynote/PowerPoint skills & able to build a clear & strategic deck to share plans with key stakeholders
* Excellent in managing short term goals with long terms priorities for the business
* A combination of Beverage and/or CPG Industry Marketing experience is an asset
* Leverages foresight to understand and anticipate future business trends and consumer insights
* Enjoys defining the unknown and creating a future growth trajectory on the business
* Strong Agency management and leadership skills
* Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate relationships
* Strong ability to collaborate, partner, and motivate cross-functional partners
* Strong analytical skills and ability to take data and insights to drive strategic agenda (establishing and delivering on metrics and KPIs for programs)

Qualifications/Requirements

* MBA required, 8+ years of CPG experience preferred
* Experience in the music industry, marketing, brand, innovation, shopper and/or insights
* Ability to analyze data & financials, incorporate multiple insights, and develop creative solutions
* Agency management experience required
* People management experience required
* Strong knowledge/expertise of consumer marketing, insights, brand & portfolio strategy and project management
* Customer management experience and/or proven ability to inspire trust and influence senior stakeholders
* Knowledge/expertise/aptitude in creative agency management and the ability to mobilize a diverse team of internal and external constituents
* Strong verbal/written communication and project management skills
* This position is limited to persons with an indefinite right to work in the United States
