Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal/Sr. Principal Modeling Simulation and Analysis Engineer to join the Flight Systems Team. This position will be located in Roy, UT and support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.
What You rsquo;ll Get To Do:
The Air Vehicle Modeling Simulation amp; Analysis (MS amp;A) Verification and Validation (V amp;V) engineer will be responsible for providing technical support across multiple disciplines and will be reporting to the AVE MS amp;A V amp;V Lead. Help plan, develop, and implement V amp;V plans, activities, and reports across multiple disciplines including: Fluids, Structures, GNC, Flight Performance, etc. in accordance with MIL-STD 3022. Create and maintain MBSE models and diagrams using Cameo Enterprise Architecture. These responsibilities include verification and validation of analytical models, and analysis/simulation software tools.
The candidate should have broad technical experiences in mechanical engineering and/or aerospace engineering disciplines.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

* Bachelor rsquo;s Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Software) from an accredited university with 5 years of related experience; 3 year with a Masters (Sr. Principal requires 9 years with a BS, 7 years with a MS, or 4 years with a PhD)
* Minimum of 3 years experience with Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis of Aerospace Systems
* Experience using enterprise amp; system modeling tools like No Magic Cameo Enterprise Architecture
* Active DOD Secret Security Clearance or higher
These qualifications would be nice to have:
* Experience with MIL-STD 3022
* Experience with Modeling amp; Simulation (M amp;S) verification and validation
* Experience with AGILE/Scrum Concepts
* Active DOD Top Secret clearance
* Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong interpersonal and analytic skills
