Defines and monitors mission assurance program specifications and processes to ensure mission success of programs. Performs or assures quality, risk management, safety, reliability and maintainability of program achievements, subcontractors, and suppliers in accordance with contractual requirements. Assesses program performance and risks, and determines resources to ensure mission assurance.

Essential Functions:

* Lead Quality Engineering responsible for coordination and execution of Program direct Quality scope for development and small scale programs.
* Investigate and implement quality improvement projects to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality
* Become a subject matter expert and user advocate for quality software platforms.
* Train team members on Quality application features and functions and facilitate use of Quality system tools and software across division sites both local and out of state
* Evaluate and analyze data collection processes related to key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement
* Establish and maintain collaboration partnership across functions and programs, customers, program management, and other support organizations.
* Investigate options for automation to increase Quality process efficiency
* Authoring documentation for the successful execution of quality requirements throughout the Quality management system.
* Support special projects and new proposals.
* Support internal audits, process observations and area assessments.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* BS in STEM field and a minimum 7 years rsquo; aersopace engineering experience OR another related industry
* Direct factory, manufacturing process systems experience
* Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

* DOD clearance
* Composite processing experience
* Experience in Quality Assurance and processing MRB
* Understanding of AS9100 requirements
* TipQA
* Project Management
* Agile methodology
* SharePoint certifications
* In depth software experience in HTML, SQL Server, Java and web services
* Experience with data mapping, reporting visualization tools, data warehouse concepts
