Title: Product Marketing Manager - Cloud Applications
Location: Atlanta, GA
Were looking for a dynamic individual with a passion for solving customer problems. This position will be responsible for the global product marketing strategy and activities for our eCommerce, Consumer Marketing, and Data/Analytics applications within the restaurant industry.
This role is not about doing demos or presenting product features it is the glue that brings together our product strategy with the activities we need to drive success in sales and marketing and deliver against targeted revenue, profit, and market share growth.
The right candidate for this position will be hungry to know competitors and our buyers better than they know themselves. You will be able to back up strategic insights with market analysis and use that to drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyers and clearly articulates how we solve our customers problems.
As part of the Hospitality Marketing team, you will collaborate regularly with product management and sales leaders to drive targeted growth and customer retention.
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
* Perform audience segmentation and prioritization, define and understand the market and market segmentation through sales insight, market research, and competitive analysis, and map offerings to buyer needs
* Be the expert on our buyers how they buy and their buying criteria and develop personas and buyers journey maps
* Develop solution positioning and messaging that differentiates NCR in the market and resonates with our target buyers
* Create launch plans and coordinate cross-functional activities required to bring existing and new solutions to market
* Support and create pricing and packaging strategies that convey the value of our product and drive sales
* Support training and development of our sales team prior to solution launch and/or offer readiness
* Educate customers, media, and industry analysts on the value of our software applications and solutions
* Represent NCR at small and large industry speaking events
* Collaborate with the broader marketing team on a variety of programs that drive demand, enable sales, and drive customer adoption
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelors degree in business or marketing
* 10+ years of product marketing experience with at least 2 years of experience in the restaurant industry and/or B2B software
* Previous experience in implementing marketing strategies that have provided insight and understanding of customers, competitors, proposition, and pricing
* Strong customer focus able to identify and differentiate between customers, focus on their needs and engage them through various channels
* Energetic, creative, and collaborative approach to product marketing and excellent stakeholder management
* Data-driven, with strong analytical skills, able to provide complex data analysis and draw conclusions based on the analysis which inform marketing strategy and tactics
* Excellent project management skills
* Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
* Ability to respond quickly to changing demands and market conditions.
* Strong relationship development and negotiating skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members.
