Responsible for responding to requests for consultative behavioral health assessments and referrals, including the initial response, the psychiatric triage assessment, the designation of appropriate level of care/disposition, and initiation of placement/referral services. Works collaboratively to improve the flow of behavioral health patients from ER and inpatient settings into behavioral health programs, leveraging intake processes and telemedicine modalities to expedite the access to definitive behavioral health care. 12-hour shifts. May include overnights and weekends. Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field of study. Prior direct clinical experience in a psychiatric setting with excellent assessment skills preferred.
