The Digital Marketing Advisor - Website & Social Media Lead will support the Cigna Medical Group business segment. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Advisor, this role will be responsible for continually improving the website experience and standards to drive patient satisfaction and patient acquisition. The role will create effective digital strategies across the web, CMG website and patient portal (MyChart). Recommends, designs and implements appropriate digital campaigns to increase patient acquisition and facilitate plan sales.
The successful candidate for this role will be a self-directed, proactive individual who is able to work effectively in a highly-matrixed organization and is comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be based in the market (Phoenix, Arizona).
Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain effective strategies to enhance the Cigna Medical Group website and online patient experience for the B2C audience.
* Ensure the patient portal MyChart is user-friendly, easy to understand and navigate, and is an effective tool for growing patient engagement
* Own media plans for all digital media and spend estimates to ensure we hit our yearly goals, inclusive of Search, Programmatic, and Social.
* Manage and maintain SEM campaigns to ensure best mix of keywords are being utilized, and optimize toward campaign KPIs.
* Share emerging trends, while monitoring the external environment & competitive position of the brand.
* Manage outside vendor relationships, supervise operational and development activities, and ensure effective budget management.
* Work cross functionally, with Marketing, Sales and Digital Experience teams, to define and maintain appropriate content for web and mobile experience for patients. Develop and assist others in the organization to develop and produce content that is consistent with the organizational brand.
* Create customer testimonial/case study content for B2B and B2C sales.
* Help with planning of future B2B campaigns and management.
Ideal Candidates Will Offer
* Bachelors Degree; MBA or Masters Degree a plus
* 8+ years of relevant, strategic experience
* Digital marketing experience on a direct-to-consumer/patient, analytically-driven marketing team
* Experience managing external creative agencies
* Experience in developing and executing against marketing plans
* Website architecture and UX design experience, including the development of shopping/purchasing portals
* Content management experience
* Experience with marketing analytic and testing methodologies
* Knowledge of and experience with Adobe Analytics preferred
* Curious and inquisitive nature that loves to think from the consumers point of view, and has an understanding of basic market research methodologies
* Experience in balancing strategy within realities of operational parameters
* Ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment
* Must balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines
* Proven ability to lead in a heavily matrixed environment
* Ability to foster collaboration and value others perspectives and gain support and buy-in for organizational proposals
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and executive presence
* Excellent attention to detail
* Health insurance industry experience a plus
