Stock Plan Services (SPS) provides a wide range of services for equity compensation programs to both employers and participants. Using our market-leading proprietary record-keeping system, Schwab EquiView, we provide outsourced administration services for equity compensation grants such as Stock , Restricted Stock Awards/Units, Stock as well as Employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPP).

SPS also provides an array of brokerage related services for equity compensation grants to participants online through Schwab Equity Award Center. Some of the many features available through this participant web site are the ability to view grant details, place transactions, accept grant agreements and enroll in ESPP.

The SPS Conversion Team is responsible for leading and executing all aspects of the implementation project to bring new corporate clients onto Schwabs system. The implementation process involves many components that depend on the level of service selected by the new client. In addition to the implementation process, the Conversion team also supports several other projects such as the merger, acquisition and corporate action activity of existing clients, sales support, contract negotiations and client invoicing.

What you are good at

The Conversion Analyst role is responsible for a variety of tasks that support the SPS Conversion Team. These tasks may include, but are not limited to assisting Conversion Managers with the migration and implementation of data onto the Schwab EquiView system, plan setup and configuration, setup and configuration of the financial reporting system, coordinating and reconciling bulk asset transfers, contract management, invoicing corporate clients and assisting with RFPs and proposals. Additionally, this position will help to:

* Build strong working relationships with both internal and external customers.
* Organize projects and resources to meet client service goals.
* Identify opportunities to improve service quality and productivity.
* Work in a team environment with other members of the Conversion Team, Client Service Managers, Operations, Relationship Managers and Education Consultants.
* Perform analysis and conversion of customers data files and ensure smooth data migration from their existing system
* Resolve customer inquiries by understanding issues and providing standard methodology recommendations
* Possess strong consulting and problem-solving skills.
* Highly organized with a demonstrated track record of multi-tasking.
* Ability to convey complicated recordkeeping system features in an easy to understand message.
* Ability to manage customer expectations and relationships
* Self-starting fast learner capable of absorbing continuous changes to internal systems and industry practices.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to quickly adapt and adjust effectively to handle changes in priorities and assignments.
* Guide clients on extracting data reports and files from various systems used throughout the industry
* Convert custom customer data formats into standard file templates within the timeframe set by the Conversion Team
* Ability to create timely and easy to understand reconciliation files for clients.
* Work with various types of data formats such as Excel spreadsheets, text files, Access databases, and third-party recordkeeping systems.
* Manage multiple projects and establish priorities
* Collaborate via phone and email with clients throughout the conversion process
* Ability to prioritize personal daily schedule to meet the timelines from multiple ongoing projects.
* Configure recordkeeping system, trading systems, invoice systems, and project management tools.

What you have

* 4 + years of brokerage industry experience including 2 years in equity compensation operations, administration or client service experience
* Advanced knowledge of Excel and other MS Office Products and applications required to perform daily implementation functions
* Familiarity with the Schwab EquiView equity compensation recordkeeping system (Knowledge of other recordkeeping systems such as Transcentive or EquityEdge a plus)
* Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to prioritize workflow
* Excellent customer service skills including the ability to handle client expectations and provide superior follow-up
* Experienced data reconciliation, mapping, and data configuration skills.
* BA/BS degree or commiserate experience
* FINRA Series 7 and 63 preferred
