The Training Lead Specialist will design, develop, implement and facilitate Manufacturing GMP training along with ensuring compliance with all regulations. This position will play a key role in ensuring employees and contract staff meet compliance requirements relating to knowledge, skill and practices necessary for her/his job performance and that they remain prepared to perform assigned tasks. This position requires cross-collaboration with technical contributors within Manufacturing, Manufacturing Technology, Quality Assurance and Site Training.

Responsibilities:

* Develop, implement and manage cost-effective and world-class learning solutions in support of the Manufacturing Training strategic objectives and to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Collaborate with functional area representatives, subject matter experts (SMEs) and cross-functional teams to develop and implement key learning strategies and programs in support of network-wide and functionally-driven projects and where training is positioned as a key success factor.
* Design and develop training courses based on training roadmaps to determine appropriate methodology
* Lead cross-functional training project teams in the creation of strategic training initiatives. Participate in BMS cross-site training project teams.
* Provides guidance and expertise around the Electronic Learning Management System functionality
* Actively builds collaborative relationships partnerships with all levels of the organization in the identification and implementation of learning solutions.
* Plans and co-facilitates classroom training sessions and learning labs focusing on a wide variety of topics.
* Provide guidance, expertise and consulting to functional managers and SMEs in the assessment of training needs, the design of appropriate training, development, and implementation, and the measurement of training effectiveness
* Demonstrates initiative, teamwork, commitment and follow-through with all training initiatives.
* Works independently and if issues or problems are identified, works with Management to resolve.
* May work on assignments that are complex in nature where independent action and a high degree of initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations.

Knowledge and Skill:

* B.S in education, science, or related discipline, or its equivalent is required
* Knowledge of adult learning and course design
* A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in training, preferably in a pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing, quality, or related field.
* Experience with leading change and managing organizational transition efforts (organizational development)
* Highly developed communication, platform, presentation, organizational, interpersonal skills, leadership and strategic planning skills.
* A strong understanding (including practical experience and highly developed skills) with adult learning theory, instructional design and a variety of learning methodologies
* Ability to work collaboratively with all employees at all levels
* Demonstrates strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Strong working knowledge of cGMPs and international regulatory requirements
