The Boeing Defense Space & Security is seeking an Experience, IPT Lead, Project Management Specialist supporting Boeing Common Products Group in El Segundo, in direct support of Government and Commercial Spacecraft Products. The Common Products portfolio consists of Satellite Payload and Platform Units (Antenna, Reflector, Feeds, Solar Array, Structures, Battery, Mechanisms, Passive Microwave Devices, Propulsion, Pumped Fluid Loop Systems, Blankets, Harness and Payload Layout). The IPT Lead will drive daily program execution, coordinate and communicate with all required functions from early program bidding thru final flight delivery.
Primary Responsibilities:
Leads development of the program architecture and top level plans for a program.
Develops program organizational, work structures, top level program and execution plans.
Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers.
Facilitates the resolution of program issues.
Supports the program manager in leading program execution by coordinating program metrics.
Integrates the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices.
Implements customer and program communication and contact plans
Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications Required:
* Bachelor degree or higher
* 3+ years of experience in program management
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with Supply Chain Management.
* Experience with budget, development of quarterly EAC, program health metrics, earned value, and management of program critical path.
* Experience working with satellite or space-based hardware
* Experience with flight platform systems integration.
* Top Secret-SSBI
Typical education and experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
