The Boeing Company is currently looking a Mid-level Test Engineer to join their team in Huntsville, AL. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Ground-Based Mid-Course Defense Development and Sustainment Contract.

A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with Senior Engineers to refurbishment and test the Ground-based Interceptor Silo while meeting our MDA Customer commitments.

Position Responsibilities:

* Team member of silo refurbishment test planning and execution requiring some travel to Vandenburg Air Force Base.

* Develop and maintain operator procedures for silo refurbishment testing.

* Assist Team Lead in test setup, test execution, data collection and analysis.

* Develops and maintains relationships with customers, peers, and program leadership.

* Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving.

* Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.

* Demonstrates the Boeing Safety Behaviors while working in the field.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

* 5+ years of engineering experience involving system requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis and evaluation, verification, or operations of space/ground systems.

* 3+ years of experience creating and documenting test plans/procedures, executing tests, analyzing results, and/or creating test reports.

* Ability to travel 10-20% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

* A Bachelor's degree or higher.

* A Security+, a CISSP certification, or equivalent Cyber Security certification.

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
