* Proven knowledge of Java and related technologies
* Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL database technologies
* Experience in designing, implementing and supporting highly scalable RESTful web services
* Strong understanding of software engineering principles and fundamentals including data structures and algorithms
* Good understanding of real-time and multi-thread programming concepts
* Effective written and verbal communication skills

- This is a hands-on role in for developing and supporting new and existing features. You will get to collaborate with many engineering teams across Apple, therefore good communication and relationship-building skills are essential to your success. Having an inquisitive mind and asking questions will help you not only achieve immediate results, but also encourage new insights for your next amazing feature. - In addition to crafting efficient, testable, easy-to-maintain code, you recognize the importance of writing functional specifications and design documents. Quality is number one in your mind, and you thrive on building comprehensive unit and end-to-end tests, not only for features you build but also for existing features that need more testing. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS **Preferred but not required ** - Experience with front-end web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, and React
