Every day, millions of consumers around the world interact with Apple and its products in the indirect Channel through mobile, digital, and in-store experiences. The Indirect Channel plays a hugely meaningful role for Apple. The Channel team within Marcom is a cross-functional team that defines, coordinates and executes how Apples products and brand appear in channel. We drive strategies to provide customers a thoughtful, engaging, and seamless experience. Were seeking a strategy lead to help plan, make, prioritize, connect and measure all of our efforts. This role will be instrumental to help revolutionize Apples premium customer experience across global channels. This role is highly collaborative and you will need to work closely with internal teams, as well as external key partners to drive business and creative success.

* 15+ years strategic experience, with a systematic marketing focus: experience in connections, CRM, content, user experience, and retail
* Demonstrated success collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams in large organizations
* Skilled at identifying business opportunities and synthesizing simple, impactful briefs for multi-disciplinary creatives
* Ability to craft integrated strategies in partnership with other strategic disciplines: brand, retail, social and media
* Leadership skills required to define and manage a set of goals involving diverse contributors, channel types, and skillsets

Channel strategy lead will be responsible for horizontal connections across marcom and Apple, while also helping to coordinate/active vertical specialists against business briefs Lead brief intake from the business, to help provide clarity and focus, by bridging gaps across teams such a Sales, PCM & PM Work alongside creative leads to define prioritize and execution of work Develop systems and frameworks that help provide focus for the functional teams Map the channel ecosystem, online and off, to ensure seamless customer journeys and the best experience of Apple in channel Work closely along side the data analytics team to bring focus to business briefs Collaborate with brand, interactive and retail strategists to shape successful launch activity Work with Channel leadership to prioritize business needs and engage senior partners across Sales, PM, Retail, Geos. Co-ordinate with functional teams supporting channel to refine/form responses to briefs Feed insights from channel performance into the interactive and brand orgs Identify and map upstream opportunities to innovate how the Apple brand shows up in channel Work with Geo Channel teams and leads to help define and guide briefs in their early stages of development
