Due to the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, this position will require you to work remotely from your home with the expectation that you will return to a regular, in-office work environment. As we continue to monitor guidance from CDC and state officials there may be times you would need to report to the office on a monthly or quarterly basis for team meetings or engagement activities. As an Agency Service Representative you will act as a trusted advisor and educator on health care related inquires. Agency Service Representative - Midland, Georgia. (Must live w/in 40 miles of location)

Responsible for providing advanced customer service support to brokers selling company products via telephone or written communication.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Assists agents and brokers via telephone or written communication. Responds to inquiries involving commissions, legislation, product information and policies and procedures for Individual, Small Group, Dental and Life. Will be expected to average a certain number of phone calls per representative per week, average pieces of correspondence to be processed per day. Coordinates mailings and fulfillment requests. Assists in broker road shows. Provides reports to brokers. Works on special projects.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Requires a high school diploma; 1 year of related customer service experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Previous health insurance industry experience preferred. Advanced benefits, claims processing or membership knowledge preferred.
