What you will be doing

Under general direction of the Director of Operations works closely with the site conversion and consolidation teams in order to manage the distribution center consolidation and conversion projects.

1. Assists in the transition of order fulfillment responsibilities and system migration activities between multiple distribution centers.
2. Works with distribution management team HR IT and other corporate functions to execute a detailed site-specific consolidation/conversion project plan which includes such activities as communication scheduling defining roles and responsibilities identifying training requirements resources human capital to complete consolidation activities and site-specific gap analyses.
3. Ensures customer requirements are met in accordance with established customer service guidelines.
4. Provides input to the development of on-going progress reports.
5. Assists functional work streams (such as IT HR and Finance) as they relate to the overall transition plan.
6. Identifies and communicates issues to the integration management such as issues which impact cost schedules and timing.
7. Develops and delivers training materials.
8. Must be able to travel 80% of the time.
9. Performs related duties as assigned.

What your background should look like (minimum qualifications) Requires broad training in fields such as business administration accountancy sales marketing computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor%27s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires a minimum of four (4) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
1. Thorough knowledge and understanding of business principles processes and technology
2. Strong project management skills with experience in organizing planning and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation
3. Good analytical conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
4. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
5. Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills
6. Strong presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport persuades others and gains understanding
7. Knowledge of computers to operative effectively with PowerPoint presentations Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Outlook
