Amegy Bank San Antonio is looking for an Executive Level Commercial Lending Manager to lead our Commercial/Corporate Banking Group in our San Antonio market and its neighboring communities.

This position will report directly to the San Antonio Market President and would serve as a member of the Executive Management Team. This management role focuses on leading a team of lenders and identifying appropriate lending opportunities, soliciting and developing all types of business activity, specializing in corporate commercial loans.

Ideal candidates will have the necessary skills to:

* Support the development and maintenance of profitable corporate/commercial banking relationships.
* Establish, develop and maintain an aggressive prospect calling program to determine the scope of potential relationship opportunities and alignment with Amegy core values and strategic objectives.
* Monitors the credit quality of loan and alternative investment portfolio.
* Produces call reports for client/prospect meetings. Prepares pipeline reports for senior management.
* Make loan presentations and decision recommendations to senior lenders and/or loan committees.
* Participates in annual incentive design for department.
* Market loan products, treasury management, investment management, private banking, leasing, wealth management, and trade finance. Originate senior loan commitments from corporate banking prospects, while advising them on alternative capital structures. Originates deposits from corporate banking prospects.
* Generate fee income by selling ancillary services such as treasury management, investment management, wealth management and trade finance
* Manage the Alternative Investment Portfolio.
* Responsible for developing and adhering to annual expense budget.
* Other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience:

8-10 years of direct C&I, Corporate, and CRE experience with concentration in complex commercial lending. A four-year college degree in business or finance, or other related, is strongly preferred.
* Requires knowledge of San Antonio/Texas local markets and networks. Local candidates are strongly preferred.
* Detail oriented, ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
* Project management experience
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with strong financial and credit analysis skills are essential to this role.
* Creative problem solving, negotiation and presentation skills.
* A demonstrated ability to develop and maintain major banking relationships is strongly preferred.
