DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a self-directed Pr. Product Manager Technical, sought to drive strategic vision and direction for a brand new mission-critical AWS service and technology to be used by AWS customers from all industries and sizes.

In this role you will drive and influence the roadmap, build deep understanding of our customers needs, define product requirements, collaborate with engineering and champion the needs of customers participating in AWS. Given the breadth of the platform we are building, this role requires coordination across internal AWS teams and external teams. You work with customers, partners, and operational stakeholders to prioritize road map features, and spearhead the definition of new capabilities through expertly crafted narratives and working backward documents.

Our ideal candidate has exceptional problem-solving skills, sound business judgment, and demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams. You have a proven ability executing both strategically and tactically, and are excited to take on a new, ambiguous that will be industry defining. An engineering background is required to effectively communicate and work with engineers.

This role is open to either Boston, Palo Alto or Seattle.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years in technical leadership roles; technical management, product design, and product development lifecycle from conception to delivery
5+ years of relevant work experience in product and project management
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required
