Who we are? Our team owns and manage cloud-based managed services to deliver FreeRTOS device software, and securely update distributed fleets of IoT devices running FreeRTOS. FreeRTOS is an open source, market-leading, real-time operating system for microcontrollers that makes small, low-power edge devices easy to program, deploy, secure, connect, and manage.

What you will do? You will be a critical part of implementing multiple critical features in addition to helping us improve and refactor parts of our existing system. FreeRTOS adoption is growing, and our team is being asked by our customers and leadership to innovate and solve the problems that are largely novel with technology to support another 10x - 100x growth. You'll be solving ambiguous problems involving end to end system from device to cloud, and console to back-end. You will make those around you better, participate in designing new software, do code reviews, and most importantly ship code!

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C including object-oriented design
1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience in building highly available services that span Edge and Cloud
Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to production
Experience with highly distributed systems and full stack development
