Amazon SageMaker, one of the fastest growing services in the history of AWS, helps customers drive transformation by providing everything needed to get started with machine learning (ML) and scale ML applications. The AWS ML Product Marketing team is seeking a talented, experienced, and self-directed Principal Product Marketing Manager to help drive greater ML adoption for AWS. The product marketing manager is responsible for developing crisp, highly differentiated, and compelling positioning and messaging for AWS. You will join an all-star team of product marketing managers and be on point to utilize your creativity to inspire data scientists and ML developers to use Amazon SageMaker. You will tell the most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you build ML applications on AWS.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader with a growth mindset who can create cross-functional success by fostering collaboration across Marketing, Product, PR, and Industry teams. The ability to lead by influence and deliver business impact is key.
Strong preference for this position to be in Seattle, but open to these additional locations: Palo Alto or San Francisco. Relocation offered from within the US to any of these locations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of relevant work experience in fields such as product marketing, marketing programs, or technical marketing, technical pre-sales, or product management.
A Bachelors degree in marketing, business, technology, or a relevant field of study such as computer science
Aptitude to analyze, communicate and present metrics effectively to support recommendations.
High attention to detail

MBA preferred
Familiarity with machine learning subject matter
Demonstrated track record in crafting compelling positioning and marketing content
Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization.
