DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Advertising team seeks a Finance Manager to join its finance department to support the Account Management team. The role will work closely with leadership in both finance and business teams in creation of advertiser insights, process improvement, and driving controllership. As the finance partner to the business, the role will also work on providing insightful analysis and financial guidance to the business. Together with the business, this role is responsible for identifying process and efficiency gaps, driving operational improvements, and delivering free-cash-flow expansion for the Amazon Advertising business.

Primary Responsibilities:
Support ongoing financial processes and drive controllership improvement
Participate in projects that drive efficiency or quality. Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish
Produce and analyze performance metrics in order to help the business team in setting up appropriate goals and achieving them
Partner closely with the leader for the Account Management Team to provide financial leadership
Coordinate and drive the weekly, monthly and quarterly Business Review process
Own quarterly forecast, annual plan and long range plan of the business
Uphold and enforce an environment of strong financial controllership

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

MBA or Masters in Business, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics preferred
Working knowledge of SQL, Cognos/TM1 and advanced knowledge of Excel
Highly innovative, flexible and self-directed
Ability to work through ambiguous business problems with minimal direction
Experience with statistical analysis, regression modeling and forecasting, demand modeling, time series analysis or data mining is a plus
Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
