Position: Project Manager (Applications Development)

A global company is seeking to hire a consultant for a long-term contract. Although this is a contract role, the average consultant is on project 6+ years.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Support multiple projects in the Auto Applications area (NAKD, SAB104, etc)
• Interact with Sales and production planning group.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines across the enterprise, understanding of technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practices
• Tracks costs and performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met
• Manage multiple projects, including forecasts, plan and manage budget/schedule to ensure project is on track
• Organize and facilitate meetings and workshops
• Develop business cases and document project goals, required tasks and resources
• Create and manage change requests, test plans and trainings
• Report on project status (weekly, monthly, quarterly); Create project & upper level management presentations
• Analyze and manage project risks/issues; Manage vendors and project resources

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: (Resume must reflect this experience)
• 5+ years of Applications Development Project Management, managing project plans, monitoring/reporting progress, resource usage, budgets and risk
• Experience managing application development projects, such as web, mobile, cloud, and/or digital transformations
• Experience conducting risk assessments and developing plans for eliminating or mitigating the risks identified
• Proficient in Clarity/Open Workbench and MS Project, MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and processes
• Must have a stable work history, working in a similar role
• Must have EXCELLENT oral communication skills
• Education: Bachelors Degree

Desired Skills:
• Automotive industry experience
• Managing DevOps and applications deployments in .Net/SQL environments for various technologies
• Experience working with Sales and production planning group is highly desired, but not required
• Business System Analyst or application development experience is a plus.
