Position: Bilingual Technical Program Manager

Duration: 12+ Months (On-going Contract)
Location: Plano, TX 75024
Rate: Open/Market Rate (W2 ONLY/H1B Transfer)

Responsibilities include:

• Working with Vehicle Security team so need good technical knowledge and understand technical language
• Work with stakeholders to understand timeline, input/output, dependencies, etc.
• Work with design team and development team to orchestrate workload, resource planning, etc.
• Understand customer’s needs and development team’s capabilities to create project schedule
• Ensure software releases are delivered in a timely fashion with great quality
• Technical experience to understand any “impediments” the development team may experience
• Work with external stakeholders to remove “impediments” from the development team

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

**If you are not local, you must relocate before June 2021, local candidates are preferred**
• Fluent (read, write and interpret/translate) in both English and Japanese
• 3+ years of hands-on program management and release management experience
• Experience managing an Agile software development team
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently with limited oversight/supervision needed
• Strong analytical skills who is enthusiastic, energetic to learn and grow, can work independently
• Knowledgeable of embedded systems and their limitations
• Experience using various project tools: MS Project, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Ability to guide and mentor developers
• Education: Bachelors Degree

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Preferred: Automotive industry background
• Preferred: Hands-on working knowledge of security technology and terminology
• Preferred: 2 years of programming experience (i.e., C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang)
