As a Consultant, PRT Operations, youll manage the day to day activities within the business by processing and coordinating the work of fiduciaries/brokers, vendors for plan administration, check-writing services and internal Nationwide partners across multiple areas including Finance, Treasury, Technology and Compliance.

Job Description

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Technical Director, PRT Operations

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

* Monitors timely and efficient execution of the PRT business. Updates Nationwide leadership on business performance, risk points and improvement opportunities. Manages budget, cost allocations and associated staffing needs for the PRT organization annuity service center and client installation team.
* Ensuring outsourced vendors are delivering expected results. Participates in regular governance meetings with vendors to review performance on service level agreements (SLAs) and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Creates and delivers the regular compliance and auditing program. Supports remediation of formal complaints or other issues. Conducts regular reviews of existing processes, SLAs and KPIs to ensure alignment with best practice and reports back on results to Technical Director.
* Drives Nationwide processes that include delivery on contract language, data optimization during new sales, communication changes and approvals between Nationwide and vendors.
* Delivers end results of operating processes between internal Nationwide functions (e.g. Actuarial, Accounting, Escheat, Finance, Technology) such as execution of funding for the monthly payroll wire, deemed abandoned and unclaimed property processing and death claim notifications.
* Supports Nationwides business development efforts, including management of milestones for request for proposal (RFPs), offer letter and contract creation, retirement policy/regulation/plan data application and other steps.
* Serves as the responsible and accountable point of contact for new clients transferring their pension obligations and participants to Nationwide, coordinating Nationwide efforts with outsourced vendors and Technical Directors of PRT to ensure a seamless installation process.

May perform other duties as assigned.

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related field. Graduate degree preferred.

Experience: Seven years of relevant experience, preferable in PRT business.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Knowledge of PRT and/or pension industry to help Nationwide build the business unit.

Other criteria, including project management certification or skills, process and value chain management skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring managers leader and Human Resources Business Partner.
