FINANCE OPPORTUNITY IN PGIM

The PGIM Controllership team currently has an opening for a Senior Financial Reporting Associate supporting the global businesses of PGIM. The role will mainly support financial reporting and controls, financial statements analysis, and the monthly reporting of PGIM Real Estate.

Responsibilities:

* Support the monthly close process and reporting deliverables across the global businesses.
* Produce monthly and quarterly financial results for PGIM Real Estate.
* Support PGIM Real Estates Strategic Investments deliverables and results.
* Analyze financial statement accounts and produce driver-based commentary.
* Coordinate the accounting and reporting of incentive fees.
* Maintain comprehensive support and documentation for all transactions and ledger activity.
* Identify opportunities for automation and determine innovative ways to streamline processes.
* Support ad-hoc requests and new projects.
* Coach and assist with the development of the offshore team

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics (MBA, CPA, or CFA is a plus).
* 1-3 years of relevant work experience; knowledge of financial services and investment products is a plus
* Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with an ability to exercise sound judgment
* Self-motivated, detail oriented, highly organized and exceptional time management
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work collaboratively with various counterparts
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Knowledge of technical accounting principles and GAAP reporting requirements a plus
* Knowledge of financial reporting applications (Oracle general ledger, EFDW, Essbase) is a plus

Comments:

* Overtime is expected during peak periods.
* This position is based Newark, New Jersey, currently remote.
