As a Quality Assurance Senior within PNC's TIS Mortgage organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA; Jacksonville, FL; Cleveland or Miamisburg, OH; Downers Grove, IL.

In this role, you will build, modify, and maintain Test Automation Frameworks for Web applications. Create test strategies for new features and ensure there is test coverage based on the test plan. Identify test gaps and prioritize adding coverage based on areas of risk. Coordinate efforts across the engineering, product, and design teams to deliver quality excellence on products. Review automated test code /code reviews to assure adherence to standards and to advise on optimization. Develop and continuously improve testing practices and strategies including functional, performance, regression, and roll-back testing scenarios, scripts, or procedures.

The following skills/experiences are preferred:

tTest Automation/programming experience
tContribute and operate as the team lead on one or more development projects.
tTest automation implementation and provide guidance on testing approaches for new feature development.
tExperience developing automated testing solutions using testing tools and/or frameworks (Selenium, JUnit, Soap UI, TestNG, JMeter, etc) preferred
tUnderstanding of Database Management (Oracle, SQL, MySQL) SQL and Data Validation are essential
tKnowledge and experience on Java, Microsoft .NET Framework or other programming languages
tExperience with Microsoft Azure and other cloud-based testing environments /CI CD tools
tExperience working in Business-Driven Development (BDD) and Continuous Integration model and environment. i.e. Gherkin or Cucumber
tResponsible for end-to-end testing automated testing techniques
tProduce reports and documentation for all testing efforts, results, activities, data, logging, and tracking.

System Development Life Cycle Knowledge of project management techniques and the ability to plan, design, develop, test, implement and maintain system development life cycle segments and phases.

Technical Troubleshooting Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques, and the ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical (hardware, software, application or operational) problems.

Technical Writing/Documentation Knowledge of the technical language and writing approach, and the ability to write paper-based and on-line technical reference documentation (guidelines, standards, procedures, processes, applications, etc.)

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 3+ years of relevant / direct industry experience. Certifications are often desired. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
