Platform Delivery Specialist- Senior Associate

Are you interested in delivering Commercial Fintech? Do you have a keen eye for execution of strategy in delivering software related projects across different groups? As a Senior Associate, Project Management at Capital One, you will work closely with Product, Commercial Technology, Credit and Sales to deliver new tools and capabilities to enable smooth efficient operations and rollouts of software and change. In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders to deliver results that will have a direct impact on the bottom line of the company. This work will enable you to engage with smart, talented people who will challenge you to excel.

General Responsibilities:

As a Senior Associate, Project Management, you will:

* Drive projects based on defined priorities; ensuring scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met while identifying risks and issues and mitigating and/or escalating as needed

* Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes

* Demonstrate the ability to tell a story while driving team communication initiatives. In particular, be able to create presentations to support the story.

* Conduct regular meetings with the leadership team, maintaining the agenda and documenting next steps and key takeaways.

* Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation

* Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery

* Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments

* Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes

* Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes

* Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands

* Display strong consulting and collaboration skills

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree or Military experience

* At least 2 years of Project Management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

* At least 3 years of Project Management experience

* Strong problem solving and influencing skills

* Strong communication and collaboration skills

* Strong organizational and tactical coordination skills

* Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work

* PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
