Job Summary
AECOM has two (2) positions available for an Entry-Level Deputy Project Manager to support our Energy Business Line in New York City, NY.
The responsibilities of this position include, but may not be limited to, the following:
* Perform financial, economic, and qualitative data collection and analyses of a variety of projects and programs across Energy and Power
* Create reports and presentations in both Excel and PowerPoint and perform various analytic tasks to support business/financial planning
* Responsible for collecting data and preparing various forecasts on key Projects
* Prepare monthly and quarterly financial metrics on Energy projects
* Monitor the status of projects and programs, with the ability to understand their relationship and potential impacts to both operational and financial performance
* Work directly with the national business line senior management team assisting in the support of business development and operations management.
* Development and learning of AECOMs internal project management and financial tools and software

AECOMs Energy business line provides a wide range of services from consulting and engineering design to engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for power, energy efficiency, and renewable energy clients. As a fully accredited Energy Services Company (ESCO), we connect knowledge and experience across our global technical network to solve energys most complex challenges. Our teams integrated framework brings together a unique combination of engineers, planners, scientists, and project managers to enhance electrical system infrastructure, reduce energy use, and generate energy on-site from traditional and renewable sources.
Minimum Requirements
* BA/BS plus 0 (zero) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer is preferred
* Previous internship or experience related to the Energy market, Climate Change, Sustainability and/or Resiliency is a plus
* Experience in electrical engineering projects is preferred
* Energy project financial knowledge and analysis a plus
* Some relevant work experience related to Energy, Engineering or Construction is preferred
* Client facing experience preferred
* Keen interest in and understanding of topics related to Energy Transition, Resiliency, and/or Sustainability is preferred
* Exposure to the Northeast utilities is a plus
