The Transportation Business Line of AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated professional to lead the travel demand modeling area in Florida. The qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate an established career in travel demand modeling with a focus on model development, validation, and application.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
* Lead and manage the modeling staff throughout Florida
* Significant client interaction for on-going and potential projects
* Responsible for marketing and proposal development
* Participate in FDOTs user group for modeling
* Develop strategies for market expansion and innovation
* Responsible for staff training and development
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Planning or related field
* 10+ years of experience in travel demand modeling, traffic forecasting, and model development and application, including 2 years of leadership
* Travel demand model development, staff supervision, client interface and marketing for new projects experience
* Must possess a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
* Masters degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Planning
* Experience with FDOT travel demand modeling software
* Experience with FTA New Starts modeling and the STOPS software
* Experience with model estimation, calibration and statistical analysis
* Registration or ability to be registered as a PE in Florida (if holds engineering degree) or ability to be AICP (if holds planning degree)
* Theoretical understanding of Activity-based Modeling and Dynamic Traffic Assignment
* Extensive knowledge of travel demand models and model development for both highways and transit
