Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Planner I to be based in Norfolk, VA.

This position is expected to begin in April 2021.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

* Compile data and conduct research in support of project delivery

* Create graphics to support the planning documents

* Play a key role in the preparation of plans

* Write sections of planning reports and documents

* Produce material for project meetings and workshops

* Participate in on-site workshops in a support role

* Communicate effectively with project team and manager

Minimum Requirements

* Bachelors degree in Urban and Regional Planning or Landscape Architecture

* Must be a US Citizen due to nature of work

Preferred Qualifications

* Masters degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban and Regional planning

* Proficient with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Sketchup Pro, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop required

* AICP certification (or certification track) preferred

* LEED certification (or certification track) preferred
