Position Summary:

Assist customers by loading parcels into vehicles; maintain the outside area of the store, and return shopping carts to the inside of the store. Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Demonstrate the companys core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions:

* Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
* Load customer parcels into vehicles
* Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of parcel loading area and outside yard
* Put away returned merchandise
* Perform check stand housekeeping tasks
* Clean spills in Central Checkout (CCK) area and clean/stock restrooms
* Retrieve carts from parking lot
* Comply with all corporate policies
* Promote and follow company initiatives
* Bag and carry out groceries for customers (where applicable)
* Maintain flexibility to work any shift
* Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum Position Qualifications:

* Ability to pass drug test
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Accuracy/attention to detail

* Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures and organizational structure
* Related experience
