Our Defense Team supports the Office of the Secretary of Defense providing critical professional services.
AT&T has an opening for a Team Lead to take on the role of supporting Office of the Secretary of Defense, Cost Analysis and Program Evaluation, Joint Data Support but primarily provide support to the Joint Staff. The Team Lead will provide support to the Joint Staff for the Joint Capabilities Integration & Development System (JCIDS) in each of the Functional Capabilities Boards (FCB) areas: Logistics, C4/Cyber, Force Application, Force Integration, Battlespace Awareness, and Protection. This position may require travel to the Pentagon and other offices in the National Capital Region. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills. Individual must work with other government and contractor analysts, and possess strong analytic and technical skills.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* Obtain, understand, and organize FCB products from multiple sources
* Track sources, develop metadata, and facilitate search and discovery of FCB products
* Communicate effectively across Joint Staff directorates and with other DoD Components as needed
* Use collaboration tools to enhance communications
* Write reports, develop briefings, and facilitate meetings
* Apply project management techniques for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and controlling
* Ensure team compliance with governance applicable to JCIDS, the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC), and Capability Portfolio Management (CPM)
* Provide the interface between the customer and the FCB team
* Manage communications with key stakeholders
Required Clearance:
Top Secret (topsecret)
Required Qualifications:
* At least 15 years of experience in an FCB area: Logistics, C4/Cyber, Force Application, Force Integration, Battlespace Awareness, and Protection
* BS in science, technology, engineering, math, or operations research
* Knowledge of U.S. force structure related to the FCB
* Demonstrated abilities to develop papers and present briefings to senior DoD officials
* Technically proficient with Microsoft Office suite
* 4 years of project or program management experience
* Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
* Pentagon knowledge
* Issue resolution skills
Desired Qualifications:
* Active DoD Top Secret Clearance, upgradeable to SCI (polygraph not required)
* Military experience
* Understanding of operational planning
* MS in Operations Research or related subject
* Familiarity with key national, DoD, and Joint Staff strategic guidance
* Experience working in the Joint Staff, OSD, or a Combatant Command
