Role description and opportunities:

Leads and supports a wide array of activities associated with global regulatory interactions within the Office of Regulatory Relations (ORR) - Reporting and Systems function. This includes end-to-end project management related to system enhancements, analysis and reporting, special projects and other internal/external stakeholder processes. Ensures all systems used to capture regulatory interactions are updated and accurate, while continually problem-solving/streamlining processes as requirements change. Contributes to development of new processes or procedures for required analytics. Compiles, synthesizes, and reports on BNY Mellons regulatory interactions and related data, including regular and ad hoc reporting. Assists with access, maintenance, and security activities for BNY Mellon and regulatory systems; and further leads the ongoing development and implementation related to these systems. Reports and escalates progress/issues to management. Proactively identifies obstacles, opportunities and recommends solutions. Cultivates collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include the following:

* Supports day-to day data management activities related to regulatory requests, findings and reporting
t
* Manages the ORRs systems and data including performing reconciliations, reporting, and participating in business continuity/disaster readiness testing
t
* Creates and/or compiles standard and ad hoc reporting for senior management committees, internal stakeholders, and the Board of Directors
t
* Identifies, develops recommendations for, and implements enhancements to systems, reporting, and processes
t
* Develops relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

Qualifications:

t
* Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience required, MBA preferred
t
* 6-8 years of experience in financial services or business partner function preferred
t
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
t
* Skilled in Excel, including pivot tables, functions (including VLOOKUP, CHOOSE, MATCH, SUMPRODUCT and logical functions), error handling, working with arrays, VBA, charts and graphs
t
* Proficient in PowerPoint skills
t
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
t
* Project management experience is preferred
t
* Experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred
