Work Hours/Shift:
Full Time
You Will Be Responsible For:
* Must complete a C.N.A course and become registered with the Florida Department of Health (DOH) as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) upon course completion.
* Pass a pre-employment criminal background check, nicotine test, and drug screen.
* Upon completion of C.N.A. course candidate will be hired into a Full-Time position as a C.N.A. and will be competent to perform patient care tasks in a safe and competent manner without significant deviations from the standard of care.
* Once employed as a C.N.A., will plan, coordinate and implement patient care in a timely manner based on individualized needs of patient under the direction of a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).

> * HS Diploma or equivalent

> * Must be 18 years or older

> * High School diploma or equivalent

> * Most recent cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is strongly preferred

> * Must complete a separate application for the school's C.N.A. Program

> * Upon completion of C.N.A. course, accept Full-Time C.N.A. position with AdventHealth

Job Summary:
Enroll in a C.N.A. prep course with intent to complete, become registered with the Florida Department of health (DOH) and become employed Full-Time as a certified nurse assistant (C.N.A.) with AdventHealth Ocala. AdventHealth Ocala will cover all tuition expenses for selected candidates. Candidate is expected to provide three (3) years' Full-Time employment post-hire. Candidate will learn to assist patients with the activities of daily living, performs patient care tasks and maintains a safe and clean environment. Full-Time CNAs complete tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida State Board of Nursing.
