You Will Be Responsible For:
* Continuously strives to improve customer satisfaction. Recognizes the vital role of customer service and places a high priority on building customer loyalty.
* Expands knowledge base and keeps current on new products, trends, et cetera.
* Assists gift and thrift shop managers with displays and restocking shelves.
* Verifies that products have tags.
* Efficient in operating the POS system. Accurate and timely in processing customer transactions and performing opening and closing operations.
* Participates in keeping the stores clean and organized.
* Performs other duties as assigned by managers.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Customer service, organizational and problem solving skills required.
* Procedures and guidelines are available. Most tasks are repetitive and require performing them according to stipulated procedures. Judgment and decisions of minor consequences may be required in limited areas for which guidelines do not exist.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* High School diploma/GED required.
* A minimum of one year of experience in retail sales.
* Experience in retail visual displays preferred.
Job Summary:
Responsible for accurate and timely processing of all sales transactions at the gift and thrift shops. Each sales associate is to be knowledgeable on products offered and they are to provide superior customer service. Assists the Gift Shop and Thrift Shop Managers in stocking shelves and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the shop. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility for maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
