Summary
Wisconsin Public Service, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is currently recruiting for Line Apprentice 1 or Higher positions.
These positions could be located at any of the following sites:
Antigo, Chilton, Green Bay, Kewaunee, Merrill, Minocqua, Menominee, Oshkosh, Rhinelander, Stevens Point, Sturgeon Bay, Two Rivers, Wabeno, Wausau, and Wausaukee.
Job Duties:
* Help and learn to be proficient at constructing, dismantling, operating, and maintaining components of all voltages of distribution, transmission, and communication lines
* Gain experience working in different situations
* Accomplish all requirements listed in Line Apprentice 1 training requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Technical school diploma in electrical power distribution or equivalent education.
* Some previous electrical construction, or electrical maintenance experience is required.
* Valid driver's license.
* Must be able to obtain a CDL within six months of hire.
