The Senior Legal Analyst -- will be a key member of Stryker's Global Legal and Compliance team, and will assist in the maintenance and oversight of Strykers global subsidiaries and will be a general corporate governance specialist.

Responsibilities will include:
* Managing the governance of Strykers global legal entities including holding meetings, appointing board members and ensuring legal compliance.
* Maintaining information database of companies within the Stryker organization.
* Performing substantive and critical review of documents requiring signature of corporate officers; exercise judgment to ensure documents requiring further attention are escalated to attorneys within the legal department.
* Improving document review and execution processes across the global enterprise, coordinating with local and divisional finance, tax and legal personnel involved in the various processes that impact the standing and governance of legal entities.
* Supporting the treasury and tax function with legal review of intercompany funding documentation for dividends, loans and hedging transactions; escalating to attorneys where needed.
* Overseeing the coordinated execution of various legal documents.
* Performing other functions within the Corporate Secretary function as requested.
* Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Education/special trainings:
* High school diploma required; Bachelors Degree or Paralegal certificate preferred.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 15 years' experience (non-degreed) or 5 years' experience with Bachelors Degree or Paralegal Certificate.
* High proficiency in computer systems and programs such as the Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat Pro and ability to learn Stryker-specific systems.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Excellent reasoning and critical thinking skills to evaluate, assess and exercise judgment with respect to important legal documentation.
* Works under general supervision and instruction of management, making decisions of minimal to moderate impact within area of expertise.
