Who You Are
Youre a curious problem solver who has the ability to bring big ideas to life. Youre creative and can navigate a large organization with ease. Youre agile and adaptable but work with precision to ensure we deliver top-notch customer experiences, always. You also have:

* Bachelors Degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing or related field
* 6-8 years of corporate communications experience (preferably in a manufacturing setting)
* Ability to understand the needs (and means of reaching) a non-wired/hourly workforce
* Ability to engage productively with enterprise partners in a matrixed organization
* Organization skills (and demonstrated ability to use project management tools)
* Social media savvy
* Interest in breakthrough technologies, smart factories and sustainability
* Ability to operate under pressure in an entrepreneurial environment and balance multiple assignments from conception to completion on schedule
* Cultural sensitivity

What Youll Do
As a Communications Manager supporting Stanley Black & Deckers Global Operations footprint, youll work with the Global Operations Communications team to:

* Support a strategic communications agenda that informs, engages and inspires employees globally
* Drive strategic outcomes through creative content (written, visual, video, etc.)
* Tell compelling stories through appropriate channels about how we are leading in innovation and solving societal issues around advanced manufacturing
* Build employee engagement and proof points around what makes Stanley Black & Decker a great place to work
* Partner with businesses, human resources and government relations to drive awareness of company values and community response efforts
* Creatively convey how a lean-led, tech-enabled, data-driven approach drives business results
