* Bachelors Degree
* Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience in a supervisor capacity
* Warehouse, Distribution, or Manufacturing experience preferred
* Previous experience leading a team preferred
* Ability to identify, manage, and lead business improvement projects
* Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills track record of communicating across various levels of an organization
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Excellent analytical skills with a strong working knowledge of problem solving, root cause analysis, and solution implementation
* Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of distribution processes and products

What Youll Do
Within the Global Tools and Storage division of Stanley Black & Decker we are currently seeking an Order Processing Supervisor for the Kannapolis, NC Distribution Center. This position provides leadership and development of direct reports within the Order Processing Department. Ensures accurate and timely processing of customer orders through picking, checking, replenishing, manifesting and loading stages of the distribution process. Maintains the quality standards; meets daily production goals and appropriately staff department. Strong follow-through on all associate issues is a basic requirement. Specifically, youll:

* Ensures timely execution and proper inventory reconciliation of inventory movements and all related processes.
* Coordinates workflow and manpower availability to ensure achievement of all company and department goals each day. Provides staffing expectations. Develops and maintains standard operation procedures for all areas of responsibility.
* Participates in departmental, and/or supervisor meetings for continuous improvement projects, goals and objectives.
* Provide appropriate process training to associates to ensure their safety, and the accuracy of inventory transactions/movement.
* Ensures employees meet company and departmental standards for quality, productivity, housekeeping & safety.
* Ensures associates ability to safely operate material handling equipment to move materials to and from storage configurations
* Responsible for performance reviews, maintenance of attendance records and all other supervisory duties associated with record-keeping.
* Cross-trains all employees in department and enforces all company policies and procedures.
* Partners with Human Resources to resolve employee relation issues.
* Develops Team Leads to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned associates.
* Supervise other departments as required
