Perform general custodial duties as assigned as well as receive training to enable janitor to perform entry level production operator assignments as needed to run production. Duties assigned may include but are not limited to::
1. Keep assigned areas clean and orderly
2. 3. Wash internal windows and walls, ceilings, pipes, lights, ducts, etc.
4. 5. Replacement of light bulbs
6. 7. Dust mop, sweep, or vacuum floors and carpeting
8. 9. Mop, strip, wax, and buff floors as required
10. 11. Shampoo carpet as required
12. 13. Clean restrooms and drinking fountains thoroughly and maintain supply of paper towels, paper products, cups, company products, etc., in restrooms
14. 15. Initial responder for unclogging drains and toilets, i.e., utilization of plungers or Drano type chemicals
16. 17. Empty wastebaskets and clean office floors as required
18. 19. Clean blinds, radiators, etc.
20. 21. Contact supervisor in area for any special projects such as cleaning up spilled items
* Move furniture, desks, files, etc. relative to the cleaning operations
* * Handling of case lots of janitorial supplies, ensure proper items are in stock as required
* * Operator power scrubbing machines and power sweepers
* Dispose of rejected material and other waste as required by the recycling process
* * 5S organizing activities/office signage
* * Perform other related duties as required by supervisor, including but not limited to, entry level production operator assignments as needed.
